Mentoring for Programs:

Every teacher and school has a different interpretation of quality programming. I work with a center's/school's established philosophy and current industry standards of developmentally appropriate practices to help align program practices with the overall mission. I also help teachers discover their personal teaching style, capitalize on individual strengths, and build a repertoire of teaching practices that better meet children's needs. My management background is greatly influenced by the John Carver non-profit governance model. My professional support services can be with a Board of Directors, group of teachers or on an individual mentoring basis with a director or teacher.

My services include, but are not limited to:
  • one-on-one coaching with an employee, and/or personalized mentoring and professional coaching.
  • teacher observations, with follow up mentoring and reflective discussion.
  • program assessment and support; guided by Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale (ECERS), and subsequent mentoring and reflective discussion.
  • short and long term support services for child care centers or teachers in professional crisis.
  • child observations for teaching support and individual goal setting, and subsequent mentoring and/or reflective discussion.
Please, do not hesitate to contact me on the possible ways I might support your or your center's professional development goals.
